Pet care experience
I have been helping take care of animals since I can remember. My mom has always rescued, rehomed, and adopted animals. We worked on training, breaking habits that may have formed that can be harmful, and giving all the love to these animals that we can. In my more recent years I have had friends, and family contact me frequently to watch animals for overnight trips, to walk, bathe, and in some cases because their animal had medical issues and could not be left alone. It has become more apparent to me that this is the line of work I feel most passionate towards and would love the opportunity to help you and your pet live the best life you can.

Emerald did a great job house sitting for us and caring for our dog and cat. We felt totally at ease while we were out of town and returned to a clean house and happy, relaxed pets. It is apparent that she truly loves animals and takes care of them as if they were her own. We will definitely book with Emerald again!

Emerald did a fantastic job with our two dogs and two cats while we were away for a week. Our 2 year old Pyrenees can be quite a handful as she is young, stubborn, and can be very anxious and needy but Emmy was totally competent and great with her. When we got back, everyone was very happy and our house was even left spotless. All of our pets loved Emerald and we would definitely recommend her to anyone!
Emerald watched my 2 Bengal cats for me for a few days and did an amazing job! It was my first time leaving them in someone else’s care. She left very good descriptions for me after each visit and took great photos. It really helped me feel at ease being away from them. I will most definitely be asking her to watch my cats in the future.

A typical day
Depending on what your dog is used to I typically try to have them out for more than an hour a day. Long stimulating walks or a visit to the dog park. Playing in the yard (if you have one). I know most hiking trails in the area too. I'm a big cuddler too so lots of affection and snuggle time if your dog is comfortable with that.
