My grandma had 2 big german shepherd/akita mixed dogs growing up and it became no doubt in my mind to see the obvious affection and devotion I’ve grown to them. Every time I went over I played, slept and ate with them everyday, they were my best friends as any pet should be to a child. As the years went by I got another dog, this time she was a small white mixed dog. I became so overjoyed as I’d been wanting one of my own for a while. She’s got me through so many of my special moments of high school and spending my days with her has made her one of my best friends. We love playing together and acting goofy together especially on our morning walks as she makes me pick her up from bed to put her leash on. Apart from my own pets, I always love going over to my friends or family’s houses and seeing their pets. I grow very attached and fond of them, I spend half the visit with the pet instead. All my friends know I’m such an animal lover as it’s not just dogs I care for but each animal down to a fish who I grow affectionately towards.
