I love dogs and I’m with them almost constantly, in my home, through sitting and walking professionally, and with friends. I’m familiar with rescue dogs and those that need some special treatment, and can administer oral medication. I've dog sat for friends and family many times, most recently with a boxer named Atticus for a couple’s month long honeymoon. He mostly needed his water intake monitored, lots of affection, and a good 45 minute exercise every day. We got along great and worked on his walking style on busier streets, eventually getting to the point where he was able to walk calmly in a store! Before that, I’ve sat for a small puppy Olivia, a Rottweiler mix, Ingo, a wire haired terrier, June, and an older rescue dog with lymphoma, Ruby. I’ve trained with a small packs walking company in San Francisco, so I can manage larger dogs that pull (with a harness) as well as groups of dogs.
