Pet care experience
Hi! I have taken care of all sorts of pets ever since I was 12. I grew up on a horse farm and my family relied on me to walk, feed and occasionally bathe the various animals. I have experience mostly with dogs and cats, but also with horses/ponies, chickens and rabbits. My family now lives in Bellevue and we have two dogs of our own-Spinach and Amigo. They are both rescue dogs, so I have plenty of experience with dogs that are uneasy in uncomfortable situations.

Ema was fantastic! She was the first Rover house/pet sitter we have used. We scheduled a meet & greet and our skittish dog went right up to Ema. She put our dog and us at ease right away. Ema listened to all the quirky nuances of our 16 year old dog and did a test walk with our medium sized dog to get a feel for her, since she can be a challenge walking. She sent pics while we were gone and gave updates. The house was as clean as when we left. We really appreciate Ema and how good she was with our pets. Even our grouchy cat that doesn't like anyone sat next to Ema during the meet and greet! We would definitely book with Ema again! She will care for your pets wonderfully!
Ema has a way with animals. They love her and she will steal their hearts. She is a very responsible person and does what she says she will do. She is great with the details and common sense and will take great care of your four-legged family members as if they were her own. You can be assured that your pooch will receive as many belly rubs and ball tosses as they need while you are away.

I love going on walks, runs, hikes, and even just adventures to Starbucks in the car. Whatever your doggos are comfortable doing, that is what we will do! I have plenty of experience with older dogs that just like to nap all day to super energetic dogs that want to play and spend all day with me. If your pets need extra attention I would be happy to take them on a few walks a day. Whatever you do with your pet regularly, I will do it too!

It is important for me to know how you are with your pets at home. I don't want to take a dog on a car ride if he normally doesn't do it. My goal is to keep your pups from boredom, but also make sure they are comfortable the whole time.
A typical day
I love to go to the Marymoor dog park and short hikes on Tiger Mountain. I also enjoy walks in my neighborhood, Bridle Trails, or Downtown Bellevue. If you have any special places your dog likes to visit, I would be happy to do it too!

Availability
I am currently going to the University of Washington so I will have to go to classes for a few hours a day. Otherwise, I am available to spend time with your pets at home or at the park.
