Pet care experience
Dogs are sentient intelligent beings and should be treated as so. I have experience working in a shelter, boarding and daycare facility, as well as had my own clients over the years, and my personal dogs. I am well versed in dog body language. I am knowledgeable on canine enrichment and can provide many species fulfilling and brain working activities, both inside and outside.

Em C. is doing an amazing job walking my dog Max! She is courteous, kind and professional and Max is always so excited to see her. Max comes home happy and tired and lately really muddy due to weather, Em makes sure he is clean and dried off after they get back. I'm so relieved and thankful to have found Em, she is definetly five stars!
Happy dogs! They love Em and I know they both get good 1on1 time. Great to have a dependable sitter on long work days who will make sure my babies are taken care of.
Em is a wonderful caregiver for my pups, dependable, and extremely knowledgable in dog behavior. They are gentle, kind, and always responsible with my home and fur babies. My dogs get a full suite of vitamins and medications and I know that no corners are cut at feeding time. My dogs adore Em so much that they don't even sulk when they see our suitcases and instead my oldest boy starts waiting by the door for his buddy to arrive! It really doesn't get any better than that. I receive updates and photos to ease my mind but since I know that Em knows so much about taking care of dogs, I usually don't worry to begin with. Leaving for a vacation becomes a lot less stressful when you know your dogs are in the best care. 11/10. Highly recommend.

I prefer to walk dogs in areas with less dog traffic! And if there are known off leash dogs that roam the area, we will go to a trail. I will take dogs on hikes or out to fields for fetch/exploring. I am a vigilant dog guardian and walker, keeping safety devices on me (alarm, pepper spray, extra slip lead) and also have knowledge and experience warding off dogs and in some less than ideal scenarios, separating dogs during an attack (all at my former boarding job- I don’t recommend those places or dog parks! Too much risk!) I can offer enrichment activities inside and outside, exercise for dogs at home in their own yard or even inside, enrichment meals, and safe and fulfilling walks! Probably other stuff too if ya just ask!

Please let me know anything and everything about your furry friend! ie.. medications, physical ailments, handling sensitivities, temperament, triggers (if known.. loud noises/direct eye contact etc) and anything else you deem relevant!
A typical day
That will depend on your dogs needs! Ideally, would pick them up and walk on agreed upon route for a set duration! I’d love to have consistent clients that are wanting 3-4 walks/week. I’m happy to also offer house check ins for potty breaks or meals.

Currently, I’m working full time as a dog walker/pet sitter, which means I have a pretty flexible schedule depending on clients needs each week. I’m pretty easygoing!
