Pet care experience
I have taken care of small to medium sized dogs since I was 14 years old. I have always loved the connection you can make with dogs and the special bond that is created through days months and years with the beloved animals. I have watched dogs for friends and people in my community throughout my teenage and adult life. I currently share a family dog named Carly who is ten years old that goes back from my parents house to mine. She is a Yorkie Maltese and I have her for months at a time as my parents travel and have had some health problems so I often take her to help them out. She is my whole world. I love taking her to dog parks and on long walks or hikes, her absolute favorite activities!

Elysia is great! My she walked my (very poorly leash trained) pitbull and my chihuahua and managed to keep them in line! Not to mention the dogs love her!
I have worked with Elysia for years, she is a wonderful person and amazing with dogs. From a 14 year old shih tzu rescue, a german shepherd puppy, to her own maltese; she is a dog lover, patient, and kind.
Elysia has walked my dog a handful full of times. She is a very caring, loving, respectful and responsible person. She loves animals and has done an absolute amazing job with mine!
Elysia was truly a great caregiver for my old lady. I left her in charge of my Dog, Maizy, while I went on vacation. She’d send me daily pictures, updates, and do multiple walks a day. If you want someone who truly cares about all dogs she really is your gal. She can handle big or small, doesn’t matter the size. She’s up for the task! 😁

I currently live in a studio apartment and can only house my dog due to contract requirements so I am unable to have any dogs other than my own at this time. However I can go on long walks with dogs in the community!

I would like to know the temperament of your dog and any medical issues or health concerns you have for your dog. I would also be interested in your dogs energy level and what kind of treats they can enjoy. Also it would be good to know if they interact well with other dogs to see if taking them to a dog park to run around and play is a good idea!
A typical day
There are many places I can take your dog through the community of Eugene and Springfield. I love to go to dog parks as well. I enjoy going to the Amazon dog park as there is an area for small dogs to run around and play. I can also take your dog throughout the community on trails and walking paths with lots a things for your furr baby to smell and enjoy. I always have healthy dog treats on hand to keep the dogs happy and motivated!

Availability
I am college student at the University of Oregon and currently have classes Monday and Wednesday morning. I do not have another job at this moment. I have a very open schedule!
