Pet care experience
My family has had pets my whole life but as soon as I was old enough, I got my first pet of my own. I currently have a two year old corgi, three cats, and a red eared slider. I am a conscientious pet owner and I am very in tune with my pets' needs. I always receive great feedback from vets and groomers on how healthy and well behaved my pets are, which means a lot to me. I am a teacher so I will be available every day from June 4th through August 11th for drop in pet care or walks. I would love to fill my days with dog walks and pet snuggles. I am by the books on what owners expect of me and if you ask me to do something for your pet, I will make it happen because you know what is best for your pet. I will give your pet the attention it needs and deserves so you can have peace of mind that they are well taken care of.

Elyse worked really hard to gain the trust and affection of my fuzzy little boy. I loved the detail reports she gave me after each visit with him. Even after having to go to the emergency room one night, she still came back the next day to take care of my little boy. I am very grateful to her.

I mostly want to know about the dog's temperament, how they act on walks, what toys or games are their favorites, and things like that. Obviously knowing any necessary medical info is extremely important as well but I like to think sharing that information is a given. I just want to make sure the experience is a great one for both the pet and the owners.
A typical day
Every dog is different so I am willing to change up my routine based on what each dog's individual needs are. I like to take my dog for walks on the bike trail near my house or play in our large backyard. My dog doesn't love to fetch or play ball but I enjoy doing these types of activities with my friends' dogs.
