I grew up with 2 big dogs in my household; both went to training school so I understand common commands. I took care of my neighborhood dogs while in Middle school and High school. I would house sit, feed them, walk them, and play with them. I understand the responsibility and commitment to taking care of others' loved ones.

I have known Elyce for 20 years now and know her to be very conscientious and responsible in whatever endeavor she was pursuing. We have had rescue dogs and Elyce was very good with them. She obviously loves animals, especially dogs, and that is really clear when you see her with them and how they respond to her. Whether it was needing someone to take my dog for a walk or take care of it for days while I was away, I would certainly trust Elyce with either.

I can crate your dog if necessary, I grew up with my dogs crated. With my roommate's dog, I always make sure she has enough water in her water bowl and she gets her breakfast & dinner in case my roommate is not home. I make sure the trash cans are closed and food is moved off the counters so she doesn't get sick or get into trouble. Communicating with my roommates, we make sure she has gotten a walk each day. With my client's pets, if they require medicine, I make sure to give them their pills in peanut butter or something they will ingest. I make sure when I go over to see them that they have enough water and food, as well as a potty break and a couple cuddles. If my client wants me to go on a walk with their dogs, I also provide that service. Making sure that the pets are all settled and taken care of before I leave is my biggest priority. Also checking in with my clients to give them a rundown or an update of their pets is also something that I provide if desired.

I am allergic to cats. I can do drop-in visits if you have cats but I cannot do house-sitting if you have cats. Let me know if your dog needs any special requirements or medicines. Also let me know if they have any allergies.
A typical day
I can take the dogs on long walks or short walks through neighborhoods. Depending on how the dog is, we can go to dog parks or sugarhouse park. Fetch and Tug-of-War are some of my favorite activities!

Availability
I am currently working a morning part-time job from Monday-Thursday, as well as another morning part-time job from Friday-Sunday. My ideal times for pet care would be 12pm-6pm Monday-Thursday or 3pm-5pm Friday-Sunday. I am flexible and can make it work if these times are not possible.
