Pet care experience
I was raised on a farm caring for farm animals and cats and dogs. For two years I worked at an animal sanctuary caring for dogs of all sizes as well as a variety of farm animals and cats. There I learned proper walking techniques, body language, how to handle excited dogs, and provide basic medical.

We were nervous to leave our 4 legged children for such a long trip. We were very pleased with Elva's communication and care for our crew. She sent pictures and updates and asked questions when she wasn't sure of something. We are pleased with our first experience having Elva hold down our fort.
Elva is SO reliable. We didn’t have to worry a bit about our cat Freddie. It’s nice to know someone has things under control.
We are very happy with Elva’s attentiveness to our 3 cats and 1 large goofy, sleepy, Ridgeback dog. Elva is a quiet person and has a calm energy that people and pets alike can feel comfortable and confident with. We look forward to booking with Elva again and taking another short getaway from the “kids”.

A typical day
I love getting to know dogs through play, exercise, and snuggles. I am comfortable taking dogs on long walks or to the dog park. If able hikes are always great for smells and exercise.

I work from home and have a flexible work schedule. I can give dogs walks throughout the day for good exercise and pop in to check in regularly.
