Pet care experience
I'm a young professional who is looking to spend my extra time caring for animals. I took care of my dog and cat growing up; I was always the one willing to take the dog on an extra walk when she wanted one, or play with the cat after others had gotten bored. Since moving away, I've found ways to spend time caring for animals. I've volunteered at shelters, I fostered a kitten for a semester of college (caring for her needs, taking her to the vet, administering medicine, and more), and have cared for the dogs and cats of friends and friends of friends while they have traveled. I now have my own dog and cat and I love them dearly. I am diligent in understanding an owner's standard of care for their precious animal family member, and am responsible in fulfilling the animal's needs in a way that is most similar to their owners, so they feel as comfortable as possible while their owner is away.

Elsa is such a great sitter! Will definitely be rebooking with her. Our cats were extremely well cared for, and I really appreciated the little updates on their moods Elsa sent each day :) Always hard to leave your pets, but having an excellent sitter makes all the difference in the world. Elsa was awesome with our Great Pyrenees. She kept us informed the entire time with text and pictures. She took our pup on plenty of walks and left us worry free while on vacation!
Elsa was absolutely wonderful to have watch our dogs. She took the time to meet with us virtually and even came by early on the day we were set to leave to make sure everything was good to go. I felt completely confident that she was going to take good care of our dogs. She even took pictures and kept us informed on how they were doing. Elsa made sure they got plenty of time to play and when we came home we could tell they had a good time. We absolutely will be recommending Elsa to friends and will use her services again in the future. 10/10 will book again.
Elsa is great! I had complete peace of mind knowing she was watching after my pup. She was timely and communicated well. She’s very accommodating and has such a kind energy about her. I would absolutely recommend her!

Before being responsible for a dog, I need to know about their eating habits/needs, any medication they need to be administered, any health/dietary issues or restrictions I should know about, and a bit about their temperament and experiences in new environments and with new people. I'm happy to work with any breed - my dad raised Irish Wolfhounds growing up and he's taken me to dog shows - and I love them all!
A typical day
I'm an active person, training for a half ironman, so I'm happy to go on as many walks or runs as a dog would like! I also enjoy cuddles, pets, and downtime with furry friends.

I work a hybrid schedule during the week, and have few other commitments on evenings and weekends. I’m open to short or long term pet care arrangements.
