Pet care experience
I’m a rising third year law student at Maine Law who unfortunately doesn’t have any pets of her own! I grew up in a house with dogs, cats, and even fish so I’m missing having some furry friends! I would love to spend some time with your pet and go for walks, lounge about, bark at the mailman — whatever they like to do! I'm comfortable around dogs of all sizes, from the tiny 10 pounders, to those big guys that weigh in at more than 100 pounds. I also have experience with senior dogs and dogs with severe anxiety issues. All animals have their quirks and I'm excited to learn about your pet's and make sure they feel safe and comfortable! I would love nothing more than to spend some quality time with your pet making sure their needs are met and they get all the attention and affection they desire while their owner is away.

When I first meet a dog and their owner I like to get a sense of how things normally work. Does the dog sleep on the bed? Their own bed? Do they need to be accompanied outside or is there a secure fenced in area? Whatever the owner tells me is how I try to do things. And if I have any questions or concerns I always ask.

I have a good deal of experience with a wide range of dogs in size and age. I think it’s important to know if there are any must do’s or don’ts for the dog. And if they have any particular schedule to stick to.
A typical day
Since I don’t have pets of my own I love to spend some time cuddling if that’s something the dog is interested in. I also love taking dogs on walks. I find it’s a great way for me to learn more about the city. It’s especially fun when the dog leads me on their route! I tend not to go to dog parks as I’m not sure what other dogs will be like, but if that’s a normal part of the routine just let me know!

I am currently doing a legal internship and so am for the most part only available on the weekends. I can also do walks early weekday mornings!
