The care I provide is based on the needs of each pup and their parents, I do like to provide photos no matter what because I love taking pictures of every pup. I’ve administered medications before, I’ll take pups for walks as required and monitor if they seem to need any additional time outside, I’ll feed pups according to their schedule and suggested portion size.

Before sitting a dog I would like to know about any particular quirks or issues they have. I would like to know how much food they eat and when. I have a slight preference for fluffier breeds but I am not picky about it.
A typical day
If a pet parent has an ideal path for their dog that’s where I’ll stay, otherwise I like to find parks or lakes to walk by.

I’ve owned and worked with dogs all my life. I have worked with many different types of dogs including Pomeranians, Huskies, Great Pyrenees, Springer Spaniels, Golden Retrievers and Australian Shepherds. I love dogs and dogs love me! I previously worked at a pet store and I know a lot about dogs and all types of pets. I am also very used to working with puppies, it’s always been one of my favorite periods in a dogs life and not just because they’re cute and tiny! I love working on training puppies and seeing them figure things out. A lot of shy dogs tend to be a little more comfortable around me and I am good at working with anxious dogs. That said I am not a fan of aggressive dogs or large dogs that excessively pull their leash (I am small! Not strong enough).

Elly is truly a gem of a person and pet whisperer! We are new parents to a rescue puppy and needed a trusted person to take care of our pup for a family event. Enter Elly who went above and beyond from the beginning. She took over our dog’s routine, played with him regularly, kept him walked and occupied, and somehow left our house cleaner than we left it leaving town! We got updates throughout each day (along with photographer-grade photos of our prince) giving us such peace of mind. We already booked Elly for the next time we are out of town… Elly is everything we were looking for in a person to take care of our puppy and we can’t recommend her enough! Thank you so much Elly!
Elly was awesome! Her communication was excellent—she kept us updated regularly with great pictures. While we were away, she took wonderful care of our home and, most importantly, our pup. Elly helped us out in a pinch with our dog, Mike - she came over for a meet and greet prior to and Mike was obviously comfortable with her from the time she walked in. She sent regular photo and text updates and was very clean and conscientious. 100% would recommend Elly for dog and house sitting!
