* I took about a year break from dog sitting on Rover due to family and travel reasons. Hi I'm Elly, I'm super passionate about giving your pets the best time while you are away. I grew up with both, dogs and cats. I know how hard it can be to find a sitter you can trust and I'm here to help make that process easier! :) With pictures and daily updates, you’ll be informed on how they are doing every day and what they’re up to! I am big on the safety of your pets while in my care. I’m a proponent of never leaving your pets alone outside (even if the backyard is fenced). I also make a habit of locking all doors leading out to prevent any mischievous personalities from trying to escape. I strongly recommend if your pet takes any form of medication, that you go over important instructions during our meet & greet.

I always prefer to do a meet and greet before I agree to any booking. It's a great way for you to meet me, visit your humble abode and see if we are a good match. I love all types of breeds, doesn't matter the shape or size! When arriving at the meet and greet, I look forward to getting a chance to chat about your dog's personality, quirks, habits, and what a typical daily routine looks like. - At this time I am only accepting clients who are house trained and warm up well with strangers.
A typical day
All dogs who stay with us are welcomed in with a lot of love and TLC:) No dog is every left alone outside and there is always our dog Sedona to keep them company. We have a nice roomy house and big fenced yard. Our yard has a fenced pool, cement play area and a dirt area with a kiddie pool to splash in during the hot summer months. If your dog(s) like to go on walks, we have a nice quiet neighborhood behind us as well as wonderful hiking spots not too far out. There is also plenty of time to snuggle, whether it be on the couch, bed or floor. In our house, its play, snuggle, sleep, and then play again!

Availability
I am an online college student at ASU majoring in speech and Hearing science. I have a flexible schedule to customize each stay depending on the needs of your pet. I do occasionally have errands to run during the day, but in most cases I limit my time away 3.5- 4 hours at the max.
