I grew up with a cat and a dog which provided me the experience to care for their daily needs and currently own a cat of my own. I recently gained experience walking a dog for an owner who worked during the week and needed help with walking her active dog during the day. I also have some experience with a nervous/reactive dog through a family owned pet and believe I can handle dogs with nervous or reactive personalities, following meeting and getting to know them. Towards the end of 2021, I signed up as a dog walker for Cardiff Dogs Home and did a few volunteering weekends, which gave me a good knowledge on keeping dogs safe when out on walks. I also did some volunteering with South Wales Police, caring for the police canines and horses. Initially, I was nervous as I had never been in close contact with horses before, but I absolutely loved it! I am really eager to meet more dogs and cats and hopefully be of help to pet owners.
