My boyfriend Derek and I are a young professional couple who have always lived with and loved animals. This will be a team effort as I am an actress working sporadic hours and Derek works from home. This means your furry family member will get double the love! I grew up with pugs and Derek grew up with 5 (too many) cats! Throughout the years we have baby sat multiple friends animals on a regular basis. We love having animals around the house. We have also fostered cats from the human society before so we are experienced with the difficult transition that moving an animal into a different environment can be. We live a 5 minute walk to a fenced off dog park and behind us is a quiet residential neighbourhood, as well as having our own fenced-off outdoor space. We look forward to hearing from you and remember, ‘we only use leashes because dogs can’t hold hands.’

Ellis & Derek are amazing with Ace! This is now my second time having them watch over ace and they have already become a favourite of ours! They’re very quick with responses which is great if you’re in a rush and looking for a sitter and they are great with sending pictures throughout your pooches stay with them! Ace was well taken care and tired out- which is exactly what he needs! They took him out to a near by dog and also, took him for a run and let him roam around which is a great plus especially when having a sitter in Toronto! Having an outdoor space to roam that is secure is also another bonus! They’re also very accommodating with drop-off and pick up times which is nice as well! Also reasonably priced as well! I would definitely recommend and would come back again!
I could not find a "free" sitter before my trip, so I used this site to find one. They responded very quickly and I was able to have meet and greet right away. Soho seemed to had a great time staying with Ellis & Derek! Derek had a flexible schedule that accommodated my situation easily, and I was getting updates every single day with tons of photos which I absolutely loved. They not only sent me the photos, but sent me messages regards of any updates or concerns they had about soho, so I wouldn't freak out. I would definitely let them watch soho next time I need a sitter!
Ellis & Derek were absolutely amazing with Copper! It was the first time we left him overnight and they made us feel totally comfortable with it! We will definitely bring Copper back to play with his new friends the next time we need someone to watch him! 100% recommend them!
Derek and Ellis are fantastic. I valued their honesty the most, closely followed by their love for my bud Milo! He fell in love with them, and it was clear that he was very comfortable at their place. They will be my go-to dog-sitters!
