Pets are an extension of the family. They desire to love and be loved just like we do. As humans, we have a responsibility to steward well, beginning with the lives of those entrusted to us, both human and animal alike. I grew up in an animal-loving environment, so I know the amount of love, worry, and planning that goes into caring for them. At age thirteen I even had my own summer dog-sitting service. I live a very active lifestyle, so I’m always down to go for a stroll or take a trip to the local park. I love cuddles on the couch with the fur babies after a long day at work, but still acknowledge and respect the times when they need their space.
