I was bitten by the “training bug” when I was but 5 years old, training our rescued mixed breed dog alongside my mother at Home Away From Home’s training facility. This love of training and bonding with my dog has turned into a lifelong passion. I was very successful in dog training programs through 4H, ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of America), and AKC (American Kennel Club). I have trained dogs and competed in advanced levels of Obedience through both ASCA and AKC, and was awarded several Certificates of Merit as well as placed third in the Nation in obedience with my dog and I have trained two of my own personal Service Dogs. I currently train dogs every day of the week. It is not just a hobby, but a way of life and a passion. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to turn dog training into a career
