Howdy! I’m Elliot. Thanks for checking out my profile. I grew up on my family’s farm in Southern Kentucky and have been around animals of all types my entire life. I helped raise and care for cattle, chickens, horses, and of course there was always a dog or two and multiple cats in my household while I was growing up. I love all animals! I have a borzoi named Harry, German shepherd mix Junior, and a sphynx cat named Claudia. My heart dogs passed away several years ago due to aggressive cancers at 12 years and 14 years old respectively. I gained a lot of experience and so, so much compassion when it comes to caring for senior dogs. I’m strong and can carry or assist pets with mobility issues. I’m familiar with puppies too and am more than happy to help train your pup. If you have any questions please feel welcome to reach out and chat!

I have know Elliot for ten years and throughout that time they have shown nothing but an exceptional caring for animals. Elliot is always very level headed when it comes to caring for animals as well, they always stay calm and collected. I would personally recommend Elliot to handle and care for your pets, as I would trust them with my own pets. You would be lucky to have your fur babies be watched by someone as responsible and loving as Elliot!
Elliot is by far the most responsible person I have ever met, whether that’s with their friends or other people or their animals. Their knowledge exceeds that of an overage dog owner, and they’re more than happy to go above and beyond to make someone or someone’s animal feel extra special and taken care of. They have a huge heart and an even bigger love for dogs. Their own dog Harry has been raised with structure, care, and knowledge. I don’t trust anyone else with my own dogs, whether that’s watching them or walking them, than I do Elliot. I have no doubt that whether they’re pet sitting or walking, they will bring their whole heart to the table to give the pup the best experience and care possible.
Elliot is an amazing caregiver! Bastian has a great time with them every day that he's there. Elliot is very responsible and knowledgeable regarding pets - from making sure your pet's needs are met, to recognizing crucial behaviors. Elliot is able to provide care and love for them all! My backyard is fenced and secure. Most doorways in my house are gated so I can accommodate pets that may need a little extra space and privacy too.

Please let me know if your dog or cat needs any special accommodations, medical needs, or has any behaviours you think I should know of. If you are unsure how your dog is around cats, if they’re pushy with cats, or especially if they try to chase them – please let me know so I can take the proper precautions. Almost all of my doorways have pet gates so I’ll be able to keep everyone safe and comfortable. ⭐️ Please let me know if your cat has FeLV or is FIV+ so that I can keep our cats separate. This won’t prevent me from booking with you but is especially important because my cat is hairless and that puts her at greater risk of being infected if bitten.
A typical day
What kind of activities does your dog/cat like to do? What levels of physical and mental stimulation do they need? I’m flexible! I live near Iroquois park so I’m down for anything between hanging on the couch, play time in the backyard, all the way to walking over and hiking in the park.

Availability
I work at Ford so my work schedule is consistent. I’m there Monday-Thursday from 6:00AM-4:30PM and I'm off work Friday-Sunday. My pet care routine is usually: 6-8AM: Potty time, breakfast, potty time again. 12PM: Potty break and outside play time in my fenced yard for 30 minutes. 4-5PM: Dinner, potty break, and more outside play time in my yard for 30 minutes. 9-10PM: Potty break, grooming, and then bed time. If you need me to change it up for your pet please let me know.
