Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of my own dogs (and a plethora of other pets), as well as those of neighbors, family and friends. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, from chihuahuas to dobermans, and am comfortable with any size/breed of dog. I also have a lot of experience in terms of pet temperaments, age, medicinal needs, and other specific care requirements. Although I'm not a certified trainer, I've done obedience with my own dogs in the past and I'd be happy to work on anything you see room for improvement on, if given instructions! I also used to walk dogs professionally with Wag, and as such am familiar with this kind of pet service.

My dog Hope stayed with Ellie while I had knee surgery. I wasn’t able to walk as soon as I’d hoped, but fortunately Ellie was free and was kind enough to let me extend Hope’s stay for a couple more nights. Hope looked really happy in the pictures Ellie sent, and they’d just come back from a walk when I picked Hope up. Thank you, Ellie!
Ellie was awesome! Prompt on pick-up and drop-off, she got our pup nice and tired and he was calm the whole rest of the day.
I can't recommed Ellie highly enough! She has cared for all of our dogs, large (Dobermans!) and small. We've boarded our dogs in her home and she's stayed in our home to care for our pets as well. Ellie is conscientious and has good judgement. She is loving with our animals as well as firm and consistent. Ellie is good about playing with and exercising our dogs. She is also good at communicating with us.

I have a decently sized, fenced in yard in which my previous housemate's german shepherd would run around comfortably. If you're comfortable with it, I'm happy to let the dog out as often as they would like and walk around as well; there are also multiple parks within walking distance of my house that are great for off leash time. I love dogs and am happy to care for them however you see fit!

Availability
I work part time in food service, so my schedule changes week to week, however my shifts are only 4-7 hours. I am fairly flexible and am generally home when not at work, and as such pet care fits easily into my schedule!
