My name is Ellie. I am a 23 year old who has a massive passion for dogs, it’s what I want to spend my time doing and it’s definitely what I want to dedicate my life to. I can never imagine having (what most people call) a “normal” job again. I previously worked for a Doggy Daycare Creche just shy of a year and a half (I absolutely adored my job) but due to the Coronavirus, I was unfortunately made redundant a few months ago. I am fully qualified in K9 first aid and since being made redundant I have taken part in a few canine online courses in order to gain more knowledge and improve my own self development. I live in the EH16 area of Edinburgh, I don’t drive but I’m more than happy to use public transport for the right jobs! I have 3 dogs of my own, one who I recently rescued from abroad and she is my absolute world. I’ve grew up with and around dogs all my life, its all i know. I walk all my dogs daily and I meet up with friends for playdates, I love being outside and meeting new dogs. I also have dog sat for some friends!

I first met Ellie after looking into giving a dog a forever home ad she had rehomed lilo. She was more than happy to give me any advice and help me with anything. After i finally rehomed a small dog, she was the only one who helped me and with no hesitation at all. She is a true dog lover and I would 100% trust her to look after my dog. Her knowledge about dogs and her love them makes her an amazing person!
I haven’t met anyone in life that has as much passion for animals, especially dogs as Ellie has. She has vast experience in looking after dogs over recent years and you would be hard pushed to find a more lovely, down to earth and genuine person. Her passion for dogs shines through the moment you meet her.
I met Ellie when we both joined a local rescue dog meet up group, which we both now run. Her love of dogs is very clear and she is both knowledgable and outgoing when it comes to socialising with dogs and their owners. Her rescue, Lilo, has come on incredibly in the short time that Ellie has had her, and I’ve no doubt that this is down to Ellie’s patience, caring and all round natural affinity with dogs. I can’t think of anyone better to put your trust in to care for your dog.
Ellie has looked after my dog lots of times. She is an amazing dog lover and I would never hesitate in leaving my dog with her. I would highly recommend Ellie for dog sitting and you could be rest assured your pooch will be looked after and well pampered!
