Hi! I'm Ellie and I have been caring for dogs for around ten years now. I have volunteered at local shelters for over four years and am background checked as well. I have a dachshund named Bernie who’s super sweet and absolutely loves having new friends around! Currently, I am in the process of getting pet first aid certified, so my clients will feel even more at ease with leaving their pets with me. I have experience with all types of dogs and am available to dog sit any dog under 40lbs since my building has a weight restriction. I am flexible with what my routine would be with your dog in my care if you'd like us to take a certain route or go to the park, but a normal routine would be a walk for half an hour or longer in wanted, set feeding times, play time for a while, possibly another walk, and potty breaks in between. Currently, I work completely remote and will be home all day to take care of your pup.

Ellie did a great job with our cockapoo puppy. My husband and I recently brought him home just two days before Ellie stayed with him all day for two days. I could tell he had a great time because he was very happy and clearly had some play time when I came home. I would definitely hire Ellie again (and have!).

We live a block from Central park, so I usually take dogs for a long walk depending on if my clients are comfortable with that. I’m very vigilant about body language and whatever is happening around us in order to keep all dogs in my care safe and comfortable.

I would like to know how well he or she gets along with strangers to make sure I'm extra careful when I meet them. I do not have breed preferences, however I’m only able to take dogs under 40lbs due to my building. I have a small dachshund who’s very playful and friendly also!
A typical day
I love going to central park, but I also bought some dog puzzles that the dogs I’ve babysat seem to love! My area is great for leisurely walks, and usually I’ll go towards a lesser known grass field so the dogs can sniff around.
