Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Ellie. My family welcomed our first dog (a Border Collie + Lab mix named Lillie) when I was 8 and I instantly fell in love! Currently I am experienced with giving medications, helping with an assortment of medical issues and basic first aid. I’ve worked with dogs in age range from 8 weeks to seniors and would love to help you with yours!

Ellie was wonderful. She cleaned up after herself so the house looked great when we came home. Both dogs really liked her and were well cared for. Our dogs are large (75-90 lbs) and she walked them 1-1.5 hours every day. I thoroughly trust her and couldn't recommend her highly enough!
Our dogs love Ellie!! She did a wonderful job caring for them again and was so flexible with our last minute travel schedule.
Ellie took such great care of our dogs while we were away! They loved hanging out with her and we felt much more at ease knowing they were being well cared for.
Ellie did a great job with our pup. Kept him entertained and happy for the day while we were out.

Unfortunately I do not offer pet sitting in my own home but I am happy to stay in your house to ensure your pup is taken care of while being able to stay in their known environment where they will be most comfortable and as least-stressed as possible.

Please let me know about any allergies, medical conditions and medications. Although we will discuss it in the meet and greet, I always ask that a note sheet with information such as feeding measurements, medication info, veterinary info, and anything else I may need be left in the house for me. Along with that, I will ask about your dog’s behavior and previous training. It is very important to me that I continue to reinforce any previous training that you and your pup have worked hard on!
A typical day
I am very flexible to your dog’s routine and schedule. If your dog(s) would enjoy outings please let me know but otherwise we likely will spend most of the time you are away cuddled up on the couch and/or playing!

Availability
I currently live in the Greater Lansing Area of Michigan however I work in Windsor, ON and spend most of my time in the Detroit area. Although I do work part time in Windsor on the weekends, my schedule is very flexible and I will never leave your pups alone for long.
