Pet care experience
I'm an enthusiastic pet sitter with experience caring for seniors and special-needs dogs! I grew up with dogs and volunteered at my local animal shelter when I was younger, primarily helping to socialize anxious and shy rescues. I have also cared for puppies, both before and during house-training. I have no pets of my own at the moment so I am happy to walk, bathe, look after, and of course play with your dogs and/or cats as needed! Safety is always m top priority. As mentioned I have experience caring for special needs dogs, as well as experience interacting with anxious and territorial dogs.

Ellie was wonderful. She sent daily updates w/ photos and was very communicative. In every photo, our dog seemed to be Ellie’s biggest fan. We came home after a long weekend to a clean house and a happy pup. We would definitely book w/ Ellie again!

Ellie was super sweet and wonderful with our Dolly. We received many updates from her which kept us at ease during our trip. Dolly is a little shy when meeting new people but she quickly took to Ellie because of her calm and caring nature. I would definitely recommend her and book her again too!

I am fully vaccinated and boosted and will happily mask up in/around your home. I live in a smoke-free, child-free apartment, with no other pets or animals. I keep the place tidy, all food, medicine, and choking hazards properly stored. I have one roommate who loves dogs and will be around for cuddles and pets, but when your dog is in my care there will be no one else coming or going from the apartment. I know it's nerve-racking to leave your best friend in someone else's care, so I will send lots of updates, respond ASAP, and do everything I can to reassure you that your pet is in good hands.

Please let me know your dog's age, any medical conditions or concerns, previous injuries, and what their activity levels and needs are! Also please let me know if I should keep them away from other dogs or pedestrians during walks, and if there are any obedience cues or commands I should follow. Along with health and safety info, I'd like to know about their favorite playtime activities, if they're snugglers, and anything else I can do to keep them happy and safe!
A typical day
I love playing around outside and will make sure your dog gets lots of fresh air, in whatever way they like best! I'll take your dog on a "sniffy walk," letting them set the pace and route and letting them smell all the smells they want. I also live a couple blocks from a large park with a great designated doggy area, perfect for playing fetch, rolling around in the grass, and meeting other dogs. Availability
I am an early riser, so I love early morning walks! When I'm not work, I like long afternoon strolls. But when I'm caring for your dog, they're schedule will be my schedule–– if they always go out at a certain time, I'll take them out at that time, I will feed them when you usually feed them, and if they take medicine I will make absolutely sure they get it at the appropriate time.
