Pet care experience
my partner and I have taken care of dogs since childhood, and have had dogs of our own our whole adulthood. We regularly host friends dogs at our home with our 6 year old border collie mix Scout! We often walk the blocks around our home and play in our backyard, oh and lapdogs (even big ones) will be at home here. Your dog will become part of our family during their stay. Our home is theirs—beds, couches, you name it. They’ll join our little family of our doggo Scout, our toddler and my partner and I! We want them to feel safe and loved as our own, with a doggo playmate and room to roam.

Ellie and Matthew did a great job taking care of our dog! They sent us awesome pictures and were very tentative to his needs. Would definitely recommend them for your pet!
Ellie would be perfect for this! She is so great with dogs and is very reliable. She also owns a dog herself, so I definitely believe she has what it takes to care for someone else’s dog.

We have a toddler—your dogs must have experience with young children and interact safely. our toddler is well versed in giving dogs space, being gentle and knows the signs of approach. We have a large fenced in backyard and we can crate our dog or yours when needed and separate them with gates as needed.

*It is critical that your dog has experience with toddlers and feels comfortable and safe around a 3 year old.* They must get along with other dogs. If your dog is a barker at neighbors or a chewer of any kind we cannot accommodate unfortunately.
A typical day
we regularly walk our neighborhood and play in our fenced in yard on the daily. Getting out of our neighborhood and into stimulating nature is our kind of day.

Availability
Both of us work part time. Between the two of us someone is always available for potty breaks, long walks, short walks and backyard play.
