Pet care experience
I have grown up surrounded by dogs and cats since childhood. I love dogs especially; often more than humans! I am often trusted to care for the pets of family/friends while they go on holiday and also regularly walked the dog for my grandma as she got older. I would love a dog of my own but my current personal situation wouldn't allow it, so Rover seemed like a decent compromise.

As a first time user of rover I was a little nervous to say the least, however upon meeting Ellie she had a great personality and was super great with my dog Bow. Bow doesn't like many people and suffers with separation anxiety, but Ellie made the cut. I'll certainly be booking Ellie again for future sits for Bow. Put me at ease, was prompt, professional and exactly what you want from an in house dog sitter. Thanks.

I have 0 pets and a shared communal garden. I would not be able to let any pets run free in my garden as its not secure. I would happily house sit at the pet owners home though; happy to adhere to whatever routine you have going with your pet. Personally, i like it when the pet is not kept in a crate/cage overnight - probably wouldn't say no to sharing a bed if thats what they are also used to (haha). Can be as laid back or as rule abiding as required - just let me know the score!

I'm really flexible. If the pet is not overly mobile, i can bring a nice book and we can chill out together. If they want multiple walks a day, also great, happy to do that too. I guess, just a quick run down via Text so i can come prepared (whether or not i need my walking boots or a book and some slippers).
A typical day
I love the outdoors so, if its a weekday i usually try to get out at least once a day. I recently moved to Chorlton so i'm still exploring all the lovely walks the area has to offer. If it is a weekend, i ALWAYS fit in at least one long walk; if the pet is 'car friendly', i'm happy to take them out to Tatton Park, the Peaks, Macclesfield forest, etc. I'd love to bring a little companion with me on all my walking adventures. And of course, i can adjust my walk to suit the dog :)

Availability
I am able to work from home Monday, Wednesday and Friday and can cater to all needs during this time. I walk/run most days and love to go on long walks/hikes on the weekends, so a dog would fit in nicely to my routine! I live near plenty of green space/woodlands/river routes (I'm new to Chorlton myself, so still exploring the best spots) so theres plenty of places to explore. Also love exploring new areas, so happy to walk on familiar routes close to your home.
