I’ve been pet sitting through Rover for over 2 years. I have taken care of dozens of pets, and I treat every pet the way I would want my pets to be treated. I send lots of pictures with detailed updates about my time with your pet(s). I work at an all-cat animal shelter and rescue. I love cats and dogs and other furry critters. I was a teacher for 10 years before working at an animal shelter.

It was very easy to make a quick agreement with Ellie to take car of my cat, Max. Every day she sent a picture and report on his behavior, even getting on the floor to take a picture of him under the bed. Max came out from under the bed the first day and socialized but remained under the bed for the rest of the period which is normal for him. I plan on asking Ellie to care for him on future trips.
We were completely thrilled with the care Ellie provided our Buddy. She was always responsive to us and informative about Buddy’s reactions to our absence and her experiences with him. We could not have been more pleased or grateful to her for her help. Worth every penny and more.

I do not have enough space to bring pets to my apartment. I have stayed overnight at many clients’ homes. If you have a dog, I will walk your dog multiple times each day, I will play with your dog, and I will give them all the love they want ❤️ If you have a cat, I will feed them, clean the litter box, and give them as much attention as they desire ❤️

A typical day
I’m happy to walk your doggo around your neighborhood, or take them to a neighborhood dog park. We can play fetch, tug-o-war, or any other activities your pup enjoys.

Availability
I work at an animal shelter in Sarasota, 5 days a week. Pet-sitting is not my full time job. I’m available on most holidays. I can do morning and evening visits. I am not available during the day, unless I am off that day. During the summer, I mostly work Monday-Friday, 800am-4:00pm. The rest of the year, I have a very irregular schedule, but I always work 5 days a week.
