Pet care experience
I'm a vet tech at a local Philadelphia animal shelter where I've been working for three years. I am comfortable working with animals who have histories of door darting, resource guarding, fear of strangers, mouthing, and leash biting. Most of my work is with dogs and cats, but I also have experience with birds, rodents, reptiles, goats, and fish. I have two cats, each of whom has at some point presented behavioral or medical challenges. I'm happy to discuss your pet's individual needs and provide regular updates on activity levels, bowel movements, etc. I'll gladly send pictures as well. Elianna is a devoted and professional, especially when it comes to caring for other people's animals. I have had the opportunity to observe her at the PSPCA while she helps people choose the best animal for their family. She was always courteous and respectful with customers and always keeps the animals well-being in high priority. She has animal-sat for me (2 cats and 1 dog) as well as other people I know and she's always done a fantastic job, including sending updates and pictures. Elianna will make a superb dog-sitter for Rover!

Before our first visit, I would appreciate a heads up about any dog-dog reactivity, guarding behaviors, stranger danger and the like. You can also tell me about any injuries, allergies, mers, motivators (treats/toys/affection), and your typical routine! This way I can make your pup as comfortable as possible!
A typical day
Depending on age, breed, and interest, we can go on walks, play tug and fetch, chase each other around the yard, and train! If you're dog is so inclined, we'll learn some pretty awesome tricks!

Availability
I am most available Thursday-Saturday. I'm an early bird, so early morning visits are no biggie! I can stay overnight at client's homes from Wednesday to Friday.
