Hello - I'm a freelance Journalist whose love of furry friends knows no bounds. It sounds lame but is true. I met my first dog in 1992, aged 2-months, when Disco, our rescue Greyhound was brought back from the RSPCA. I promptly started sharing chewed toys and, not so willingly, food. Ever since our house has expanded with an increasing menagerie of animals — from Peacocks to Rats, a Barn Owl, Horses and even three Wallabies — and I have been charging around looking after all of them. I gravitate towards all animals, no matter how grumpy or slimy, and I can read their behaviors with ease. I make a great sitter and I am extremely conscientious with other people's homes and property. I welcome all pets! Although, maybe not quite as large as Lemmy, pictured, as my arms practically fell-off when he spotted a squirrel on a walk.
