My name is Ellie, and I have been dog walking and pet sitting for most of my adult life! Chicago has been my home for a few years now, and it has been such a joy to meet all of the city critters here. Along with dog walking, I have experience with volunteering at an animal shelter as well as assisting a dog groomer. Currently, I have a part time job besides this, but try to be as flexible as possible to make sure your pet is in the best hands. Your pets safety is extremely important to me. Every animal is different and I make sure to recognize their schedule, dietary needs, and medical details as thoroughly as possible. I always keep my phone on me in case of emergency, and try to avoid contact with other animals as much as possible when walking animals.

Although having a new face around while your away can be exciting for a pet, I also realize that any change can cause an animal stress. Please let me know how I can best accommodate them, and what to avoid while I am watching them. For example, if they aren't allowed in certain spaces, destroy certain things, are reactive to other animals/people, etc.
A typical day
A typical day is going to look different for every creature, but some fun activities could include playing with new or favorite toys, a treat puzzle of sorts, or exploring a new part of the neighborhood to change things up a little!

I am currently working a part time job 3 days a week, and incorporate pet sitting as much as I am able! Tuesdays I work a full day 12-9, and Friday/Saturday are half shifts. Besides that I am able to fit in sitting full time on my days off, and part time on days I work my other job.
