Pet care experience
I have cared for my own dog for the past ten years and helped family and friends with care and training of their own critters, as well as volunteered at shelters. My experience with many other animals (goats, rabbits, cats, etc) makes me well suited for any pet, but dogs are top of my list! I am here for your pet: if they need to burn some energy on a run, I love a good cardio buddy, but if they need to take it slow I am here for them too. Since I am in college currently my schedule is flexible but I am most available in the mornings and early afternoons. I cannot wait to help you care for your dog! Ellie “babysat” for my dog and cat for several years before university stole her away. I was always comfortable leaving my family’s pets in her care because she is responsible, conscientious, and loving. Our bouncy German Shepherd loved her as much as our picky cat did, and she was well able to handle both. When she was pet-sitting, she made sure to stay at our house for a while so that the animals weren’t lonely, and our dog always had nice walks. I highly recommend her for dog walking, pet sitting, and house sitting.
Ellie B is definitely a dog person. She loves them, plays with them and takes great care of them. She has cared for my two very big dogs many times and they are always excited to see her. She has trained and cared for her own dog who can’t be with her at school and she’s ready to take good care of yours. She’s a friendly and conscientious person and would take great care of your dog

My apartment does not allow pets unfortunately so all services will be booked out of your own living space, but since I am relatively new to the area I would love to explore some more of the parks and look for nice walking trails. I respect your home and boundaries and value keeping your pet safe and happy in their home environment.

Please let me know if your dog is reactive to anything in particular (other dogs, cats, squirrels, toddlers, etc.) and if you know of any areas in your neighborhood to avoid for that! I am happy to accommodate routes and schedule to best meet their needs, and prioritize safety!
A typical day
I love going for a morning walk and getting the zoomies out (my own, or your fur child's) and depending on their energy level am happy to make this as short or long as they would like. Love playing fetch for those who participate, snuggling, reading a good book, general playing, and of course treats as appropriate

I am in graduate school and have a very flexible schedule, with lots of time most mornings and early afternoons, as well as occasional evening availability. I would love to car efor your pet when you need an extra hand.
