People call me Ellie! I'm proudly a junior at SCAD. I've grown up around dogs since I was born, and currently my family has two rescue dogs-- A retriever husky mix named Louie and a sweet beagle mix named Hope. They are both high maintenance as Hope is super nervous about everything and Louie is a bit unpredictable and aggressive at times, so I know how to deal with all kinds of personalities, including the ones many others find hard to deal with. I've had experience dog-sitting and cat-sitting for about 6 years now, even though I am a bit new to rover. I've worked with chihuahua's and great danes so I have a variety of experience with breeds and sizes, not just personalities. I've also watched fish, birds, rabbits, reptiles and even a goose before! I love animals and I would definitely love to sit for more types of animals. When you book with me, I always try to do a meet & greet beforehand for everyone's safety and satisfaction. Not all pets get along with everyone and if I'm not the best sitter for you I'd rather make sure we find that out before the job starts and not during, that way you can find someone who is better suited for the job. I ask for a meet & greet at least a day before the booking; that way I can notify my work, and it'll also allow you to have more time to find someone if your pet doesn't like me as much as I know I will like them! When I take care of your pet(s), unless otherwise specified, I will do 45 minute walks that can either be broken up throughout the day, or all together depending on your and your pet's personal preference! I am able to administer oral medication and flea medicine, as well as brush them, give baths and take them to the vet/groom/dog park if it's in an hour walking distance. I have a license but I'm still trying to save up for a car atm. I know that everyone tends to care for their pets in different ways so if you have a routine with yours I'll definitely be sure to stick with it!
