Pet care experience
Hello! Like most other sitters/walkers here, I love our furry friends. What sets me apart is that I have enough energy to go on my four limbs and play with your pets. I have experience walking, living, feeding, caring for a german shepard and a labrador. In one of my 6 years of experience, I lived with 5 pets at once; yes, it's short but it was intense and I felt like a true pet mom. I'm able to administer medicines and adjust to your pet's needs, whether they need to be burped or walked a specific way--just let me know what their behavioral tendencies are.

She helped us out last minute when Rubi was sick and Ellia was so attentive, caring and made sure Rubi was taking her medicine and going to the bathroom as often as she needed to. First time with Ellia L. We did a meet & greet prior to our date. Everything was perfect and the dogs were happy and fed (pictures were sent). House was clean just as we left it. Ellia took care of our guy Baxter for a week and she was fantastic! We got updates, photos and videos daily and she texted us anytime she had a question about how we’d like her to handle a certain situation. By day two, Baxter had bonded with Ellia and followed her anywhere she went. They became quite a pair. We can’t wait to have Ellia take care of Baxter again.
I have used Ellis multiple times and she has been fantastic! Always on time and quick to respond. My dog has loved her and has been taken care of greatly with her!

I have no preference on breeds or age. It'd be helpful to know how they behave around other dogs/humans on walks. If there are particular behavioral quarks about your fur baby, please let me know (ie. their eating style, reaction to strangers, situations that make them nervous, response to commands).
A typical day
I love going on hikes and long walks in the sunset! Depending on the size/health/age of your dog, I can either walk or run with them. There was an elementary school in my neighborhood that turns into a dog park in the afternoon, so I used to play fetch there when I lived in Silicon Valley. A tired dog is a happy dog :-) So if there is a park or trail near your house that you frequent, I can take your dog there.

Availability
I work from home, so will be home with your pet for most of the day-- except when I run errands or go to the gym. I typically will go for a walk with the dogs in the morning and in the evening, with a potty break around 1pm and 10 pm. I am a home body. I love cuddling with dogs at home when possible. At most, I'll be gone ~3-4 hours on weekends, but typically way less than that. During the weekend, I'll most likely go on a longer walk/hike, and I'll try to bring your pet with me if they're fit to do so. In the rare case that I'm attending an event or have a longer appointment, I will check with you and make sure you and the fur babies are comfortable with that!
