I have grown up with several dogs of which I partook in puppy training classes with. I have spent 17 years taking care of my cat, Sprinkles. I’ve also pet-sat for family, friends, and neighbors since I was 14.

I'm sorry to say I had a very poor experience with Elli. My dog was left inside and with no food for 28 hours. I had scheduled Elli to check in on my dog Saturday PM and Sunday AM to feed my dog and let him out for potty. Sunday around noon Elli messaged me saying she was just arriving for her 8am check-in, and has forgotten to come at all the night before. We now have an anxious dog and pee on the carpet to clean up. I had a great experience with Elli the first time she sat for us, so I was very disappointed this time. She apologized profusely and explained she had had an emergency, which I can sympathize with; but she neglected to contact me Saturday evening so I could book an on-call sitter.
Ellie was absolutely fantastic! We were reluctant to leave since our dog had been sick and on antibiotics, but after meeting Elli we instantly knew she would be in good hands and she sure was. Elli took Maggie on walks, sent us the most adorable pictures each day and kept us totally informed on how she and our cat were doing. She watered our plants and left our house very clean and in great shape. We highly recommend Elli and will not hesitate to call on her again.

Elli was wonderful to work with and took excellent care of my dog while I was away. She took lots of photos and gave me updates every time she visited him. Great communication!

I like to know what comfort level a dog has being around other dogs or other animals as this could affect what environments they can be a part of. It also gives me an indication of what behaviors I can expect in certain situations. It’s important before taking on care of a pet that any medical conditions, whether treated or not have been shared with me as well.
A typical day
Depending on the dog and the neighborhood that I’m in, love to get dogs out on walks and runs or take them to parks that are deemed good spots by their owners. If a dog or cat ever needs to be transported to get outdoors, I love to stop and get them a pup cup or treat if that’s something their owner wouldn’t mind.
