I’ve had various family dogs growing up and have been surrounded by dogs by whole life. I gravitate towards every dog I see as I have an instinct to care and nurture all animals I come into contact with. I’ve been responsible for walking, feeding and overall care for various animals both family and for others. I take the role very serious as I place the dog as my first priority always.

Elli looked after my border collie boy, Tippy, for 2 weeks and I could not recommend her more. Tippy can be a handful sometimes but when I returned from my holiday he seemed so happy and well behaved which was a surprise because sometimes he can be a bit shaken up by new people. Elli is responsible, friendly and great with dogs!

If I were to offer care in someone else’s home I’d ensure the dog is comfortable in my presence. I’d take it for long walks within the specifications of the owner (on lead/off lead) I’d play with the dog with various toys or other stimulants. I’d provide adequate water throughout my stay with the dog and let it out for various bathroom breaks over the course of my time there.

Availability
I’m currently working part time and so my availability is very fluid. I am always free in the late afternoons and evenings so that can be beneficial for anyone looking for evening care on a regular basis. I have various days off throughout any given week so I’ll be able to provide care for dogs in my spare time.
