Pet care experience
I have had large dogs my whole life. I was raised with two newfoundland puppies who saw me into my early teens, they made it to 11 and 15 years old respectively. I currently have a Neapolitan mastiff at my parents' home who I helped raise from a puppy until I left for college. She is currently 10. I also have three cats all raised from kittens. Two are siblings and are 15 years old, I was given control of their care when I was four because I am detail oriented and a big pet lover. I also lived on a hobby farm my whole life where we have sheep, goats, chicken, turkeys and more. Overall, I am an animal lover capable of taking excellent care of your pets. In my own home I currently only have one pet. She is a young cat named Toni. She is almost a year old. I am her sole care provider, and I adore her.

Ellenya has grown up with all varieties of animals. She has cared for, cleaned up after, and loved every sort of critter from kittens to elderly dogs (Newfoundland and Mastiff), a hedgehog, and all sorts of livestock including turkeys, chickens, goats, sheep, and guinea fowl. She is trustworthy, hard working and knows her way around a pooper scooper.
Ellenya has grown up with and has had at least one dog her entire life- mostly large dogs like Newfoundland’s and mastiffs. She is comfortable with both big and small dogs and is responsible with not only their feeding- excercise and grooming schedules but currently is talking care of a older dog with anxiety and hip pain. She is calming and reassuring and can get that dog to take her medication when others struggle. Ellenya is a good student and a reliable choice.

I live in a small house with three house mates and my cat Toni. I start my day by cleaning Toni's litter box, refilling her food and water, and giving her plenty of love and affection before staring my day. If you read my pet experience, you'll know that I am very experienced with large dogs and their care, specifically mastiffs and newfoundland dogs. I know that large and small dogs alike need a way to get their energy out. Thus, I will take them for long, safe walks in areas that the dog owners and I will have agreed upon. I want to make sure that you as the owners feel comfortable with me and feel safe trusting me with your furry friend's care whether it be by checking on them when you are away, or by helping them get their energy out and taking them for a walk.

I would like to know of any medications, feeding times or other special treatment your dog/cat may require. If your dog/cat is on a strict diet or specially timed feeding schedule please let me know when feeding times are, if those times are within the times that I will be interacting with your pet. I would also like to know if your dog is reactive to strangers or other dogs, and if they are trained to walk in everyday settings. I am more than willing to deal with reactive dogs, but for the safety of your pet and other people/pets we could encounter I would like to know beforehand.
A typical day
Dogs are amongst my favorite animals. I love a good game of fetch, tug of war, or just a good snuggle. If I care for your dogs I will give them the utmost respect, and the best level of care I can offer, whether it be taking them on walks, playing with them, or feeding them. Currently I have a cat, so obviously I love them too. Whether your cat is a snuggle bug, or a grumpy kitty, I am sure we will get along. I will feed them, play with them, and care for them to the best of my ability, while maintaining a safe environment for your special little kitty.

Availability
I am currently a college student. This semester my classes are mostly online. In addition to school, I also work as a medical scribe at Altru Hospital. I work mostly Tuesdays and Thursdays, and some weekends. Overall, I am the most available to care for your furry friends on M/W/F.
