Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Ellen and I have been an animal lover my whole life. I recently moved to Jacksonville from Ohio. I was raised in a two dog, two cat household, so my experience with pet care started at a very early age. I am familiar with training puppies and dogs alike with tasks from potty training to loose-leash walking. I am an early morning, late night (after 10pm) dog walker/sitter as I work part time. However, my availability changes from week to week so please message me and ask. I typically will respond within the hour. If I have to cancel it will most always be at least 24 hours in advance. Ellen was great with Bear while we were out of town! She sent us pictures throughout the week and texted right back if I messaged her. Will hire her again!
Ellen was fantastic! We were in a pinch after another sitter cancelled on us and Ellen was very flexible even on short notice. She agreed to meet with us before to meet our dog and go review the schedule and we felt very comfortable. While we were away she stayed at our house and sent us pictures and videos throughout the stay. She was very easy to work with and responded to messages very quickly. She also made sure the mail was brought in and the garden survived. Best part was coming home and seeing our dog was happy. I would highly recommend Ellen and plan to request her again the next time we go away!
Ellen watched our dogs for a week and did a great job. She walks them and makes sure they don’t get lonely while we are gone! She’s very friendly and trust worthy and we would definitely recommend and use her again!
The care and love that Ellen gives to any animal - especially dogs - is so endearing and genuine. I’ve never known anybody more responsible and attentive when it comes to the care and well-being of a dog, especially hers. Her golden retriever is so cute and her best friend!

A typical day
I love starting the day early with a long walk, and don't mind stopping a bunch so our dogs can get their smells in. If your dog requires a little more exercise, I'm happy to run with them or play games to meet their physical needs.

I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your furbabies. I have open availability on weekends and am currently available for afternoon walks.
