Pet care experience
We are a couple who work from home, so we get to hang out with our dog, Gizmo, all day! We would love to have your pet over while you are away. We are a happy pack and we would enjoy your dog's company while providing them the same care we give our own little fur balls. We know how important it is to know that our pets are in reliable hands when we leave. The dogs have access to a large fenced yard with plenty of interesting things to sniff and explore, including a chicken coop. We would love to develop repeat customers (i.e. "dog friends" who come for extended play date sleepovers!) I like to keep it to one visiting dog at at time but I will occasionally have 2.

Poor Cheerio was just getting used to moving from a house into a studio apartment when i had to take a 4-day trip without her. Ellen stepped up to the challenges and took her in, comforting her through several days of adjustment and reassuring me with regular photo updates. I will definitely call her again next time!

A typical day
We take a morning and an evening walk around the neighborhood. Bathroom breaks are given all day in the back yard - please let us know the frequency to expect. One great perk of working from home is the siesta. One of the best things in life is an early afternoon nap with the pack... sprawled around the living room on 3 giant beanbags and a shag rug. We like to take our dogs to off leash areas such as Fremont Peak. We will keep yours leashed even in off-leash areas unless (1) you explicitly request it knowing the risks (we will not suggest it ourselves) AND (2) we feel your dog has bonded with us such that he will not run. Let us know if your dog likes to run while you bike - it's a treat for both us and the dog! Gizmo is too small for this activity and Sadie is too old now.
