Pet care experience
I’m Ellen, I’ve always been an animal lover and have always been trusted to look after friends and families pets! I love all animals, and have had plenty experience with dogs and cats whilst growing up. I have also experienced caring for unwell pets and administering medication. In 2019 I started volunteering at a local animal shelter, walking the dogs and giving the cats some much needed attention, but this unfortunately changed when Covid hit. Since moving out, I’ve never been able to have a dog of my own due to my working hours. I adopted a cat who I had for some time but he sadly passed away. I’m really missing having that special time with our little companions which is why I’d love to care for yours!

Ellen looked after & regularly walked my two staffies during COVID - they can be a handful and she handled it excellently! Ellen has such a caring nature - especially when it comes to animals, my cat & dogs adored her & can't control themselves with excitement everytime they see her! I cannot recommend her enough - whenever I join her for a walk with the dogs, we have to make at least 3 stops to ensure every cat or dog we pass on the street has had some fuss & attention!

Any animal I care for I treat as I would my own. I am very patient, and have experienced caring for all different kinds of temperaments in pets, such as dogs with behavioural problems. This has given me the tools to easily spot if a dog’s body languages is off and how to deal with it whilst out in the community. Every pet is so different! I’d like to get to know every detail about your pet, how I can make them as comfortable as possible, and keep them as safe as possible. At present I will only be walking 1 dog at a time, but if this increases I will definitely arrange meet and greets to ensure your dog will fit in within the pack!

A typical day
I can provide pop ins for cats and dogs in your home, day care in my own home which is pet safe, and dog walking. I’m fit and healthy and love being out walking. I have a safe, fenced garden and there are plenty local parks and fields within 0.5 miles of my home. I am able to drive and transport your pet if required. I will take plenty photos and keep you updated when your pet is in my care!
