Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and friends, family and neighbors have relied on me to watch, feed, and take care of their pets. I have experience with dogs, cats, fish, birds, guinea pigs and I love caring for them all. I have experience with puppies from 2 months of age and kittens from 1 month, and have successfully potty trained puppies and trained my own dog. I also have experience with administering vaccines to dogs.

Ellen was awesome with our pup while away on vacation. She communicated clearly and kept the place tidy for our return. Our dog loved her and she sent lots of pics of them having fun together. I would gladly have Ellen dog sit/house sit for us again any time!

I’m very comfortable with dogs and cats, and feel confident providing whatever services they may need, if you want them crated, taken outside, or if they need special care. I make sure to also keep a clean environment for the pets and clean up any messes they may make. I also always make sure to use leashes when outside, and can accommodate to whatever type of leash you use, or other requirements!

A typical day
We could go on walks, play ball or frisbee outside, or just relax inside. My own dog is very high energy, so I’m used to a busy routine if that’s what your dog needs! My favorite places are King Salmon, Redwood Park, and Headwaters.

Availability
I have availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays for dog walking and drop in visits. I can also take pet/ house sitting requests Friday through Sundays.
