I have had dogs and cared for them lovingly for 25 years. I have my own home and I am pet free so that I can devote complete attention to any dog(s) that I am boarding. If you have more than one, no problem. I will take up to 3 at a time from the same family. I WILL ONLY TAKE FUR BABIES FROM THE SAME FAMILY. You do not have to worry that your pet will be among strange dogs or cats from different families! I have no problem walking, feeding and especially playing with them as I have done it for my own dogs and for family and friends. They call me the "Dog Whisperer" as I seem to have a calming effect on even the most anxious dog,

Ellen is THE dog sitter that we have been looking for. While our old frenchie prefers to sleep most of the day, he has a few quirks including major separation anxiety and needed a caring and reliable sitter that is understanding of his needs. Ellen is professional and very responsive. We've asked her to spam us with photos and updates and got just that. We felt at ease leaving him at Ellen's home and will book two weeks with her later this year. When I went to pick up Maximus, he was trying to go back into Ellen's house. If he could talk, he would tell you he had the best time.
From the first moment our Zuri took to Ellen right away - you can tell Ellen has vast experience and a deep love of dogs. Ellen was thoroughly prepared, printing out our directions and posting them on her fridge, making sure she knew all of Zuri's routines and preferences so she'd be totally comfortable - and she was! Throughout the stay Ellen sent daily pictures and videos which made us feel at ease, and proved Zuri was really happy at her home. She has a fenced in back yard which is perfect. Thank you Ellen - we'll definitely be taking Zuri back to you next time we travel!
Ellen takes good care of my dog. She has a puppy-proofing house with a big backyard. She sleeps with my dog and has plenty of time playing with her. She loves dog and is very experienced in training the dog. She is very responsive and send plenty of pictures and videos, which make us comfortable and relax.
Ellen was simply the best! We felt totally comfortable and at ease leaving our 1 year old dog with her from the moment we stepped out of the car with our little girl. She was extremely charming and demonstrated a deep empathy and understanding with our pup. Her place was like a Disneyland for dogs with so many beds, water bowls in every room, and even entertainment in the form of DogTV. She has a lovely fenced-in backyard in a quaint, quiet neighborhood by the river. Our Maisie took to it immediately, sniffing and searching around for any potential leads on goodies (as Beagles do). We totally recommend any owner to let their dog stay at Auntie Ellen’s. It was an absolute privilege and Maisie will certainly be making another visit soon.

Please let me know if your dog has special needs or special medication. I want to know if they need to be crated to sleep, if they have allergies and exactly how often they should be fed. You have a special routine with your beloved animal and I want to match that routine in every way possible. Plus reduce their possible anxiety by being with them all day.
A typical day
I do love playing with dogs and giving them the love and attention they need. I am great with puppies of any age! I can handle their high energy and can play, play, play with them all day! I am especially good with senior dogs and take extra care in their handling. I am very careful and mindful of weather conditions and will not overtax a dog in heat or excessive cold. I will follow your instructions to the letter!

I work from home, have my own private practice and see clients virtually, so my time and schedule are completely my own. Everyone loves the fact that I am here all day making their pet completely comfortable in their surroundings.
