All of the dogs in my care are part of our family and they receive quality care and unconditional love in a safe and comfortable environment. Special needs, seniors and puppies are welcome in our home. LARGE DOGS ARE WELCOME ONLY IF THEY ARE LOW - MEDIUM ENERGY. I'm experienced in administering medications, both oral and injections and eye/ear drops. I AM PRIVATELY AND FULLY INSURED BY PET CARE INSURANCE. Wafer has stayed with Ellen several times now and she gets excited to stay with her when we drop her off. Ellen gives regular updates during Wafer’s stay which I always appreciate. Ellen is amazing. My boys almost didn't want to leave ans got a long well with Ellen's dogs. The daily pictures were funny and it was nice to know they were having fun too.
How do I start when our review is “PERFECT”. My husband was having surgery and therefore our labradoodle’s first stay would be an overnight adventure. We scheduled a meet and greet with Ellen. Turned out to be a nice long visit. It’s quite obvious that Ellen loves animals and is very comfortable with them. Fuzzy was able to meet and interact with one of her dogs during this meet and greet. The overnight visit was great. I’m sure Fuzzy felt she was at a resort. Ellen sent us so many photos of Fuzzy happily interacting with her three dogs. Fuzzy is 9 years old. It had been at least 4 years since she had stayed away overnight. This had been at a kennel well over 100 miles away. No comparison at all! When we arrived at Ellen’s home for her overnight, Fuzzy very willingly went to Ellen. The next day, when I picked her up, she didn’t come to me anxiously (like, ‘I gotta get outa here mom’) but she was happy and comfortable. Ellen gives not only attention and care but also a huge dose of love. I treasure the photos and will treasure all future photos from Ellen. Fuzzy secretly awaits her next stay at her very own Ellen Resort!
Ellen is simply amazing! If I could give her a 20-star review, I absolutely would! During Franco’s stay at her place, she kept us updated with adorable photos and videos, showing just how happy he was. It was like a little vacation for him! We are beyond grateful and can’t wait to hire her again. Thank you so much, Ellen, for making our stress-free getaway and showering Franco with love! We truly appreciate you, and I think Franco is already missing you!

Our home is mellow and quite except when dogs are barking and playing. My yards are fenced and secure. There's a dog door to accommodate small to medium sized dogs to access the back yard but if they're not familiar with the use of a dog door I am always home to let them have access to my yards. The gates in both yards are always locked to be certain no one enters when the dogs are outside.

As long as your dog is friendly and non aggressive with other dogs that's what's important for the safety and well-being of my dogs, yours and the dogs of my clients. I always offer a meet and greets, trial daycare for 3 to 4 hours and if you plan to board your dog for an extended period of time I offer a trial boarding for one night to know if it's a good fit for all.
A typical day
I'm up early to feed and begin spending time with the doggies. There's plenty of toys for indoor/outdoor play. Feel free to bring your dog's favorite toys. Daily walks and brushing are also provided.
