Pet care experience
I have many years of experience working with cats, dogs, exotics and large animals such as horses and livestock. I worked as a vet tech for a couple of years and I also worked as a dog-walker/ kennel attendant at numerous shelters and rescues. Caring for animals has been a life- long passion and I promise to take care of your fur babies as if they were my own.

Ellen is a wonderful caregiver for my special needs cat. She gives her the best care, is always reliable and on time, and I’m able to call her when things come up unexpectedly for assistance. I am so lucky we found her after moving to a new area as our girl is epileptic and needs someone who really understands how to give pills and build trust. I couldn’t imagine not having Ellen as a trusted person to turn to!
Ellen is truly an amazing person with animals. I went on a week long vacation and had her watch my pup Oakley. I couldn’t have asked for better care for my dog. She was very attentive and always made sure she had a little exercise each day. My dog has separation anxiety and she was so comfortable with Ellen. With her background of working with animals for years, she cared for my Oakley like she was her own. I have had her watch Oakley many times and will continue to do so.

I currently live in an apartment with my two very spoiled kitties and geckos, so I don’t board in my home. When dog walking and pet sitting, I try to follow the schedule that the pets are typically used to, to minimize the stress of their owners being gone.

I currently work Monday through Thursday from 6 AM until about 6:45 PM at my full-time job but have weekend availability for walks and I do pet sit on a case to case basis.
