Hi, I’m Ellen! I have 6 years of dog sitting experience, with an extra soft spot for senior dogs. I sadly said goodbye to my senior girl last November, but have taken great joy in dog sitting for friends, family and neighbors. I work from home and have a great neighborhood for walks, complete with a park on the block. I can give potty breaks hourly and will be sure to make ample time for play and cuddles. Dogs in my care won’t ever be left in crates (unless requested). I live in a single-family home and have a fenced in backyard, perfect for potty breaks and zoomies. There are no other pets in my home and there are no children.

I highly recommend Ellen. My Australian silky terrier spent over two weeks under Ellens loving care. It was my first experience leaving him with a dog sitter. Ellen exceeded my expectations and catered to my dog's specific needs. Ellen sent frequent updates with videos and photos. I was actually a bit sad once I collected Quetzal, I could tell they would miss each other. Happy and relieved to have found an amazing dog sitter. Highly, highly recommend.
Ellen truly sets the bar when it comes to a Rover sitter. I can not say enough nice things. Communication was amazing and most importantly our dog Buster may have enjoyed being at Ellen's more than he likes it at our house! ? Ellen treats your dog as a member of the family and we would absolutely go to her first when looking for someone to watch our dogs.
Ellen was so wonderful with our little Rocket. She asked great questions ahead of time and was patient and let him warm up to her. She had a great personality and sent us lots of updates and photos during his stay. He got snuggles and cuddles and walks. He seemed really happy there when we picked him up and it was a seamless transition. We would definitely recommend her!
A former senior dog owner herself, Ellen understands the details that come with caring for a pet, especially ones that may need more specialized care. I have witnessed the dedication, loyalty and sensitivity that she has for our four legged friends. Ellen is reliable, devoted, and a great communicator. You’ll feel at ease leaving your pet with her!
