Hello! My name is Ellen. I grew up around animals and have owned pets for around 16 years and have loved every second of it. I have owned Shepherds, Heelers, cats, goats, horses, chickens, and sheep. I participated in 4-H from Jr. High through Highschool, including dog obedience and agility, winning first in a few of them. I also took care of the neighbors dogs, making sure they were fed and loved on. I'm currently going to school part time, and am usually free in the late mornings and early afternoons almost every day. If evenings work better for your pet, then Monday and Wednesday are perfect for us both. I have a laid back personality that jells well with all dogs and an eye for detail to keep your furry friend safe during walks.

I have a pitbull mixed with boxer, to say high energy and stubereness runs in his veins is an understatement. Over about six months I watched Ellen work with my dog to help him understand how to receive a good hello without jumping on the person or wiggling out of his skin against your shins. He is much more pleasant to come home to and he knows how to handle his excitement better. My dog is a better dog because of the time Ellen put into him. She loves dogs and has a special way of connecting with them, and helping them to be well behaved dogs. She is very responsible and I trust her completely to handle and care for my dog, who really does feel like he is part of the family.
I'm pleased to recommend Ellen because she is reliable, conscientious, and experienced with pets. She trained her family's German Shepherd and showed her competitively, a project that took dedication, confidence, and a willingness to work. Though most of her experience has been with large dogs, she also has cared for cats, chickens, goats and horses. Ellen is a very responsible young woman and I have every confidence she will provide the best of care for your pets.
Ellen has a very calming and gentle energy that allows animals to feel safe and comfortable. She is reliable and understands the needs of any type of pet. She has been a foster mom for abandoned kittens, baby sparrows and raccoon kits.
