I have had and trained dogs all my life and I specialize in challenging dogs, or dogs that need extra attention. I believe in positive reinforcement and am a true dog lover - making dogs happy is part of my "dharma." I work from home so I can stick around more. I also enjoy taking them to parks on work breaks. Dogs can get taken out every few hours as needed. When house sitting, I am happy to check your mail, clean up after the dogs, take the trash out, and everything that will make your vacation or trip worry-free. I own my own home so I don't have to worry about landlords and dogs, and I accept all sizes & breeds. I am very good at avoiding detrimental situations and handling them once they do happen. Since 16 years old, I've always adopted hard-to-handle dogs whose lives were in risk at shelters throughout high school and college, so I am good at dealing with all kind of situations with dogs and difficult dogs are my specialty. I am well versed in encouraging good behaviors, discouraging the bad, and making dogs feel at home. I have always done this kind of thing for friends so I decided to do it professionally. I hope to meet you and your dog and bring some happiness, love, and exercise into his or her life soon! Please note the following: -If the stay is less than 3 nights for house sitting, I do charge $20 for meet and greets, as my schedule doesn't allow meet and greets for short stays. -I'm happy to accommodate last minute changes, but if you know your travel times, do specify them *at booking* or as soon as you do know them - I have more than one client, and this will help avoid situations where two clients expect me at their house at the same time since Rover doesn't account for this in the app, you must let me know. -If you need me to be there at a specific time and you know that time, you must give me advanced (2 days) notice. If you need to make a last-minute change, I'll do my absolute best to adjust my schedule to accommodate. -Overnight stays are priced by the day, a 24 hour period. The "check in" time is the same as the "check out" time. If for example, I must arrive at 8am and leave the day you come back at 8pm, you must book an extra day or drop-in visits (at less rate than full overnight stay). -i always offer to come back in the event of a delayed flight or travel plans at no cost -Price is negotiable for low-maintenance dogs.
