I have worked with dogs for many years in a variety of settings. I worked at a doggy day care, helping watch over 50 dogs over the summer. I have worked at a guide dog school taking care of the dogs for 2 years. Both of these jobs have given me experiences taking care of a variety of sizes of dogs all with different needs & personailities. I have experience running packs of dogs & feel comfortable introducing dogs with one another. I feel comfortable with dogs that have special needs & medicating. I will be in school but am available on weekends and on weekdays in the mornings & evenings. For boarding, my school schedule will be less of a time issue since I have my own dog to take care of. My dog is a 3 year old male lab, who did not make it as a guide dog. He is very friendly & has not met a dog he hasn't liked! He loves to play but in my experiences he knows when a dog does not want to play. I live in an apartment complex with a moderately sized courtyard. There is a sidewalk on a quiet road for walks & I am close to Clemson campus for walks.
