Hi! I'm Ellen. I'm an original Austinite, fully vaccinated, reliable, and looking forward to meeting your fur-child! I have experience sitting dogs, cats, and even a bunny. Besides the basics, like feeding, watering, and potty breaks, I'm big on animal mental health. I enjoy taking them on walks, giving treats, pets, and love, so that when you return they are just as happy as when you left! I genuinely love animals, so that part isn't hard. ;) Additionally, I'm a bit of a homebody so, lucky for you, your fur babies will have round-the-clock company! I also spend the night, or I can sleep at my own house if you prefer. Finally, I’m a 5-star rated Wag Walker with experience walking over a hundred dogs. Ellen was amazing while watching our 3 dogs for a week. She not only saved us when we had to find a rover last minute, but she took such good care of our boys!
Ellen was incredible with my young puppy! She went above and beyond to make sure Koa was well cared for even when it meant not leaving my house for a whole week. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will definitely be requesting Ellen again in the future!
This was Koa’s first time with a dog sitter and Ellen was extremely patient with her. I came home to a very happy and content puppy!
Ellen took great care of our Junie. Since this was over Thanksgiving we were really happy with the quality of service that Ellen provided. Junie had tons of walks and great energy when we got home!

Let me know if the dog has any medication, special needs, or triggers. Does your dog get along with people, children, and other dogs? Is there anything I should know about? Strange behaviors? Can they be aggressive? Are they escape artists?
A typical day
I'll usually consult client instructions and make sure everything is done there – whether that's feeding them at certain hours, or walk time at certain times of the day. Other than that, I will generally just pet them, play ball with them in the backyard, or tug-a-war, and go on a walk around the neighborhood to the nearest park.

I'm currently working part-time as a remote worker who sets her own schedule. I'm pretty flexible and have open availability. For example, I have dog-sat for last-minute weekend trips and extended two-month trips.
