Hello! My name is Ellen and I have a dog named Rowdy and two cats, named Jenny and Marmalade. I work in Human Resources and work full-time through Monday-Friday. I work from home and have full availability after 5pm as well as anytime on weekends. I have a vehicle and am able to drive to your home. I am very passionate about animals and their care. I grew up taking care of a variety of animals (dogs, cats, rats, fish, and even horses). I am comfortable and have experience with caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Dog walking: Each walk is according to your pet’s individual needs, whether we’re taking it slow with your elderly dogs or tiring out your high-energy pups with a lengthy walk/hike, or even a run. Drop-ins: You’ll come back to a tidy space, clean litter box, and happy pet(s). I do my best to keep your pets on their normal routine to keep their stress levels down and keep everyone happy while you’re away. I will bring in the mail and water plants as per your needs. ‼️New to Rover? I'm sooo glad I found Ellen on Rover. Our cat Lola is pretty shy and it takes her time to get used to new people. I personally was very worried about Lola feeling comfortable with a new sitter but boy was I surprised. Lola became friends with Ellen almost instantly!!! It made me so happy and I felt better that she felt comfortable with Ellen. We got proper updates on the check-in through Rover with pictures. Ellen followed the routine mentioned for Lola and spent some quality time with her. I can't recommend her enough! Thank you so much for taking such good care of our baby ❤️
My dogs took to Ellen right away when they met her. Dogs know a dog person! My Border Collies are 14 1/2 and 7 and we've just moved to a new place, so they are still unsettled. Ellen sent me pictures and they both appeared calm and happy! Highly recommend!
Ellen did an excellent job looking after my dog and cat for an overnight sit. She was prompt in all communications and kept us up to date on how things were going. She is clearly an animal lover. I would highly recommend Ellen.
We had to find someone in 2 days as we could not find any cat boarding. Ellen agreed as she was available and arranged greet and meet immediately. We had no issue. It was our 1st time booking from app and loved the experience. She gave timely update with pics of my cat . I think Dobby enjoyed time with her. Gonna surely refer her if anyone is looking for any cat sitter

I always have treats and a ball/toy on hand for training and play! One of my favourite walk spots is the Petticoat Creek Waterfront Trail. Scenic trails are always a plus when taking our furry friends for their daily walks.
