Pet care experience
I have grown up with tons of pets around at all times. I live with my boyfriend in PB, and he can say the same about himself. Between the two of us, we have had jack russel terriers, yorkies, labs, chihuahuas, and rescues. Our apartment has been feeling empty without pets, so we want to help love and care for yours! I have helped raise puppies from time of birth, and I have also helped care for senior, sick dogs before their passing.

Ellen is highly responsible and caring. She is comfortable and confident around animals, particularly dogs. I've known Ellen for a long time, and she grew up with pet dogs. Although she doesn't have her own dog because of her apartment, I know she does miss spending time with dogs, and she will care wonderfully for yours.
Would highly recommend! I was immediately impressed with Ellen’s ability to connect and make Sadie feel right at home. Always easy to reach and as a bit of an anxious dog parent very quick to send updates letting my know how everything was going!
Ellen is extremely responsible and compassionate towards animals. She has had dogs in her home her entire life, that were treated as family. I would trust her to take excellent care of any animal.

For dog walking, I will drive/walk to you, pick-up your dog, and walk or run with your dog as long as desired. I can drive your dog to a preferred walking location as well. I will send you photos & updates, if desired. For drop-in visits, I will drive/walk to you, check on your dog, and send you any photos or updates desired. I will let your dog out to go to the bathroom, then check their food, water, etc. as instructed. For house-sitting, I can drive to your location and stay overnight with your dog while you are away. I will closely follow instructions to care for your dog. I can walk/run with your dog and give medications as necessary. Since I work from home, I can spend lots of time with your dog. I will send photos & updates as desired.

How much energy does your dog have? How often/for how long do you usually walk your dog? (We are excited to walk and play with your dog!!) Does your dog ever chew things up, or go to the bathroom inside? Does your dog require medication or unique medical care? And any other info that is unique and specific to your dog. No breed preferences.
A typical day
I will walk/run with your dog around residential areas, the bay, or even the beach. I will play with your dog, with any toys provided by owners. We can play catch, tug-of-war, etc. I will also snuggle your dog a lot! I love going for walks around Pacific Beach or Mission Bay. I could also take your dog to Dog Beach :)

Availability
My boyfriend & I work from home, so we can take care of your dog consistently throughout the day. We are unable to host dogs in our apartment, due to our lease, but I am ready & willing to walk your dog or care for them in your home/apartment. I can drive to your location and transport your dog in my car, if necessary.
