Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of my sweet chihuahua terrier since I was 10, and since moving to Bellingham for college I have missed her so much! I also had a cat for several years, and have taken care of friends’ and neighbors’ pets while they were away many times. In addition to cat and dog care, I have experience with house, rabbit, and garden sitting. I absolutely adore animals of all kinds (but especially cats and small dogs!), and would love to keep yours company and make sure they’re safe and happy when you have to leave them! :)

Elle is punctual and communicative. She sent updates and pictures! My chihuahua is shy and barky with new people and she took to Elle quickly.
Elle was awesome; prompt to reply and schedule a meet and greet, asked attentive questions when we met, and did everything we asked while we were away (including sending pics which we really appreciated). We were largely out of service so really were glad to have someone we felt confident leaving our cats with, and Elle did a great job; we’ll definitely ask her back next time we go out of town! Thank you. :)
Elle is awesome. Treated our pup like a prince and spoiled him with walks, snuggles, and love. Would definitely book again.

Please let me know of any quirks or notable behaviors your pet has so that I can accommodate. For example, my dog is easily overwhelmed by lots of people and larger dogs, so I tend to avoid crowded spaces and dog parks with her to make sure she feels comfortable.
A typical day
I love going for walks in nature (I really enjoy the Sehome Arboretum!) as well as exploring residential neighborhoods. I’m also up for going to a dog park with dogs who like them! For pets who prefer less action, I’m always down for quiet days and nights inside.

Availability
I’m currently a student at WWU, but my afternoons, evenings, and weekends are free, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. I can also stop by to let them out periodically in the morning/early afternoon if needed.
